Charlie began square dancing in 1994 alongside his wife, Marsha, and quickly developed a passion for the activity that has lasted decades. After dancing for several years in Savannah, Georgia, he continued his journey in the Atlanta area and began calling in 2012, officially taking the mic in 2014 and becoming a Callerlab member in 2015. He has attended multiple caller schools and now serves as the club caller for Cherokee Promenaders in Calhoun, Dancing Singles in Marietta, and Pacesetters in Anderson, South Carolina, while also traveling to call dances and conventions across multiple states. Charlie calls and teaches Mainstream and Plus levels, bringing a high-energy, modern approach with a wide range of music—from classic country to rock favorites—creating a fun, engaging experience for dancers of all backgrounds. He is passionate about introducing new dancers to square dancing and sharing the joy of stepping into a square.
Dan has been involved in square dancing since 1991 and began calling in 2005 under the guidance of caller coach Paul Henze. A member of Callerlab, BMI, and an ASCAP-licensed caller, Dan calls Basic, Mainstream, SSD, and Plus levels, specializing in fun dances and one-night events. He currently calls for two clubs in North Georgia: the Pleasant Grove Promenaders in Chatsworth and the Cherokee Promenaders in Calhoun. With decades of experience both on the dance floor and behind the microphone, Dan brings enthusiasm and expertise to every event, sharing his love of square dancing with dancers across the region.
